Self-driven, self-motivated, and most of all, selfless, Terrika thrives on telling the stories of others. While women's basketball is her passion, she's covered NBA, NFL and MLB as well. You can find her bylines with espnW, Andscape, The New York Times, Fansided and WSlam Magazine to name a few.

 

Most notably known as the co-host to ESPN's WNBA show Around the Rim, alongside acclaimed women's basketball analyst LaChina Robinson. She also served as a reoccurring analyst on ESPN's digital baseball show BBTN LIVE, WNBA Hoop Streams and Countdown to GameDay during her 9.5 years with the company. Terrika is currently a contributing basketball analyst for CBS Sports HQ and NBC Sports' On Her Turf. She's the lead sideline reporter for the WNBA's Connecticut Sun and moderator of the official WNBA league Spaces on X (formerly Twitter). And aside from her on-screen duties, she's co-host of the podcast Levels to This with Sheryl Swoopes and Terrika Foster-Brasby on the iHeart Women's Sports Network. 

Terrika holds membership in many professional and social organizations including: the ProBasketball Writers Association, the
Association of Women in Sports Media, the National Association of Black Journalists, the Associated Press, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Iota Sweethearts, Inc., the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the NAACP,. She's also a former NCAA
Division II athlete, playing both volleyball and softball.

 

A proud HBCU alumna, Terrika graduated from Saint Augustine's University in Raleigh, NC, where she received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science and earned her Masters of Arts degree in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL.
